ABOUT THE CENTER

The Center for Inner Awareness, formerly the Institute of Truth, was founded in 1992 and designed to be not only a New Thought Metaphysical University, but a place where students can study, contemplate and rest in spiritual truth.

The Center for Inner Awareness is registered with the State of Oregon as a non-profit, religious educational institute and has the authority to conduct classes and courses in spiritual education. Under this mandate, the Center is empowered to confer status certificates and ordain ministers in the Church of Truth. Certificates earned at the Center For Inner Awareness are recognized by most New Thought churches and metaphysical organizations.

The Church of Truth was founded in 1913 in Spokane, Washington by Rev. Albert Grier. Today, The Church of Truth in Pasadena, California continues to be one of the largest church communities originally founded by Dr. Grier.

Our Mission Statement

Awakening the Divine within.

Accreditation

The Center for Inner Awareness is accredited by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners (AADP). The AADP was established in 1990 with national and international membership which includes, but is not limited to, MDs, NDs, DCs. DDs. DMDs. PHDs, RNs, and Herbalists. AADP has many benefits for our graduates, some of which includes referrals. As The Center for Inner Awareness is a religious and not a secular institution, which does not offer academic courses such as math and science, for example, our accreditation does not qualify students for Federal Financial Aid.
